INTRODUCTION

ARCHITECTURE THAT REACTS

Open data and collaborative urban approach

Innovative techniques using animation and data processing platforms

According to Alvin Toffler, “Future shock is the shattering stress and disorientation that we induce in individuals by subjecting them to too much change in a too-short time.” Surface on Demand is a language and a system that can be adapted anywhere at any time, so long as a city has water sources and physical buildings. This system can be changed and adapted to suit any given situation. Streets and neighborhoods change their density, colors, and sounds every hour. In this project, I’m trying to bring this constantly changing reality into a new language, a language of a more "liquid form." The main goal is to define a tool in order to accelerate, intensify, and enrich public spaces inside city and port activities and to consider new ways to connect the city to the sea by using two main elements: data and form

CITIES IN THE POST DIGITAL ERA:

Is an open data system the answer?

Like other disciplines, architecture was influenced by scientific theories of complex systems and nonlinear theories, which developed from the middle of the 20th century. With the help of theories such as fractal geometry, chaos theory, self-organization theories, emergence theories, and catastrophe theory, many architects in the field of digital design began to study and apply nonlinear scientific theories. The application of these theories led to the production of new building types and urban planning, redefining the planning process in architecture. This project will examine three non-linear architectural models, which define the nature of the nonlinear design process and construct The Bridge between non-linear philosophical conceptions and their application as a design practical practice.
