INTRODUCTION

SIMULATION, ANALYSIS AND FORM GENERATION

A NEW BOTTOM-UP CLIMATE BASED DESIGN TOOL

In the architecture of modern planning, prediction and control play an important role. The general nature of digital simulation is discussed deeply in the work. Optimization problems in architectural design are complex and have multiple objectives. In environmental optimization, for example, an optimal configuration minimizes wind effect as well as maximizes sun radiation exposure. This complexity of evaluation criteria often results in non-convex fitness with several local optima. Because of these highly complex optimizations, it's widely regarded as unsuitable for architects. Mathematics using and developing generic algorithms is my main method in the more advanced parts of the project. Optimization is time-intensive, especially when the problem involves environmental simulations. Genetic algorithms often required many iterations of such simulations. This time-intensity motivates my research for identifying alternative techniques and more time-saving methods. This project offers critical insights into competitive co-evolutionary human or higher-order primate behavior to launch more intensive research into the environmental analysis stage.

MODEL-BASED AUTOMATION, SIMULATION, and ANALYSIS ENVIRONMENTAL MODELS FOR ARCHITECTURAL OPTIMIZATION

This project discusses the role of Artificial Intelligence in modeling and simulation. AI is the field of computer science that attempts to contract computer systems that emulate human problem-solving behavior with the goal of understanding human intelligence. Those modeling and simulation techniques present fundamental approaches.

Climate change, resource depletion, and worldwide urbanization feed the demand for more energy- and resource-efficient buildings. Increasingly, architectural designers and consultants analyze buildings’ designs with easy-to-use simulation tools. This project creates new alternatives for performance and design based on new tool development as well as Artificial Intelligence tools used for engineering and architectural design, analysis, and manufacturing.
