This workshop will introduce LADYBUG & HONEYBEE

An environmental analysis plugins for Rhino-Grasshopper that allows designers to make environmentally-conscious design decisions on real time. The workshop will focus on three scales - Urban, Building and Apartment, while teaching basic tools for practical design work.

The workshop will cover site specific climatic analysis materials such as weather data visualization (sun, shadow, wind and bulb temperature), sunlight hours and interior daylight analysis, and means for designing an optimal facade detail using climatic site data (window sizes, materials, shadings and more).

We’ll also look at a performance driven design workflow that demonstrates how to productively pair parametric design and environmental analysis, in order to maintain higher design quality and worldwide standards for sustainable and environmental design.
